Location: Atlanta, GA- Hybrid
This is not a technical role.
Someone who can help manager to move this (APM-Application Portfolio Management) and (BA-Business Architecture) to support Business strategies with CEI.
Take the asset and making sure what are the licensing are and manage financial pieces
Documentation approval
EA Governance management
Identifying capabilities- Which platform provide capabilities- Help Client to make better decisions for funding perspective
These three tools are go hands on Hands- APM, BA(Business Architecture) & EA Governance
BA Preferred- Critical thinker, Manage conversation, good collaboration, MS Office Suite, Analytical thinking, Attention to detail
BS with 2 years of ex. Manager is open for Junior candidate who are open for hunt the skills and can work with manager on this. They should have soft skills required for the job.
Certs are preferred
Job Summary:
The Architect II role is designed to be a member of the team responsible with developing and managing Application Portfolio Management (APM), Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance, and Business Architecture (BA) domains. The individual in this role will by utilizing their business and technical domain acumen ensuring the alignment of Business’ strategic goals and IT strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Application Portfolio Management (APM) process to guide stakeholders on the optimization of software application usage, development, and investment.
- Shape and participation in RFx activities to identify and select the most suitable technology solutions
- Work with Stakeholders to maximize value of investment for technology and applications
- Assist with the EA Governance processes, engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational standards, policies, and strategic direction of the business.
- Promote architectural best practices, standards, and guidelines across the organization
- Ensure that architectural principles are applied during the development and implementation of enterprise solutions
- Support Solution Architecture teammates in the creation of architectural governance artifacts
- Manage Business Architecture activities which include:
- Work closely with business and technology constituents to develop and implement capability-based planning and assessments
- Foster collaboration across business and technology domains to help drive cohesive and holistic IT strategies across Cox Enterprise
- Assist with Technology Research & Analysis:
Conduct research into new and innovative technology trends that align with business needs and present findings that summarize research analysis.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience
- The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 6 years’ experience in a related field or MS and 2 years of experience
- Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills, knowledge of desktop PC systems, mobile devices, and foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 365 software products
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently while relying on judgment in addition to support interactions with various stakeholders and articulate technical concepts as needed
- Capacity to support leadership and provide mentorship within the team
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, reflecting the capacity to analyze and address challenges within the technology architecture realm
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, showcasing flexibility and a proactive approach to change
· Process-Oriented: The candidate must be highly process orienented, being able to define, and continually refine process and document the processes
· Attention to detail in supporting the development and execution of enterprise architecture
Preferred: Certifications
o TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
o Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
o Security: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
o Relevant certifications in programming languages and platforms (e.g., Java, Python, .NET)
