We are excited to offer an opportunity to join the Enterprise Architecture team for Mars Snacking at the start of the largest anticipated business transformation. This position is an architect practitioner, who has operated at the highest levels of the trade in a manufacturing company, to be the Enterprise Architect for Plan to Deliver process globally.
This role is at the heart of our supply chain and the tools, data and various partnerships which enable the planning, marketing, selling, making, and delivering our products to our customers. The role works together with the process leader to review and align design approaches and to ensure the quality of solutions. Leadership in delivery by guiding the implementation and delivery of global solutions by working with internal IT and Systems Integrators responsible for SAP delivery, such as:
The Enterprise Architect - Plan to Deliver will have extensive experience with SAP as a solution architect and design the complete SAP S4 end to end solution in this process end to end. This requires the position to be the primary contact for the technical solution with the process sponsor. Working with a team of senior technical consultants, architects, and data experts, you will be responsible for the design of the solution and passing through any technical review board. CPG industry sector is not required but highly recommended along with other SAP Cloud solutions and non-SAP supply chain solutions in demand and supply planning. You'll bring a strong awareness of business requirements met by functional solutions, which include SAP as well as third-party products. S4 Private Cloud and expertise with BTP experience is highly desired.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or business Management; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10 - 15 years of experience within a corporate IT environment or Technology Business Management framework Knowledge of Agile methodology and using tools such as Jira and Focused Build
- Professional experience in a corporate IT environment or Technology Business Management framework Knowledge of Agile methodology and using tools such as Jira and Focused Build
- Technical background and experience in development and especially with SAP S4 technical architecture and end to end design to automate key business processes.
- Knowledge of the strategic direction of SAP and related products and how to architect those into leading supply chain solutions.
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent project and resource management skills
- Risk identification and management skills
- Ability to consult management and engineering teams, with technical advice regarding business analysis, project management, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, and software architecture design
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations
- Ability to understand how different parts of business operations are connected and how business processes achieve their goals
- Prior experience in an Enterprise IT environment or Technology Business Management framework Knowledge of Agile methodology and using tools such as Jira and Focused Build
What will be your key responsibilities?
- As an Enterprise rchitect, you will be a leading resource that is responsible for influencing and designing innovative software solutions. Facilitates business and IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution, through a cohesive, encouraging, and consultative manner, driving the organization's digital business strategies and balancing innovation and growth.

- You will have a depth of consulting and functional experience of working across SAP Supply Chain business processes; and Customer management both in the digital core and wider applications
- Analyze and translate process optimization backlog into blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives
- Bring to bear industry standard methodologies and templates for the platforms and software- e.g., PLM
- You will establish the technical integrity of the solution and ensure it remains aligned to requirements and delivery throughout project and handover to support
- Position will maintain the alignment, integration, and coordination of architecture activities across different programs, projects and products within R&D and Innovation
- Develops and applies minimal viable architectures, which can include a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles, and guardrails, through the EA governance model. Clarifies accountability and provides the focal point for agile, effective, and efficient decision making.
- Collaborates with delivery teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture and to leverage shared technologies, tools and processes that impact speed to value and time to market.
- Collaborates with infrastructure teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture and to identify when it is vital to modify it.
- Provide accurate and timely information to project management team collaborating on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits
- Establish, build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external technical peers and build new relationships through networking to support effective delivery and continuous path for evergreening the solutions
