Enterprise Azure Cloud Architect

This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.
- Remote/ 8% travel
- M-F 8-5 pm
- Contract to hire
- $100-$110 hourly
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural reviews.
- Approve technical designs with a heavy emphasis on sustainable total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Challenge designs and advise technical SME's on aligning to best practices and discuss implementation designs and/or consequences.
- Assist with strategy and roadmap planning.
- Develop enterprise workflows such as:
- Financial review of an application, security posture, business continuity and disaster recovery.
- GRC/ Governance risk compliance.
- Designing and scaling applications with Azure services such as AKS, OpenShift or App Services.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Azure Well Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Experience developing enterprise workflows.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Container Apps, and PaaS, to understand with helping and/or challenging the design.
- Experience with Azure CAF in areas such as BCDR, Monitoring/Observability, and Networking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Past hands-on experience implementing Azure services. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understand from an infrastructure point of view: App Service
- Environment, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Storage Accounts and Azure Log Analytics. Strong leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices
