Job Description:

This position supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Service Center (ESC).

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a systems analyst for a large enterprise content management project.
  • Interact with different stakeholders to elicit and document the system business requirements, both functional and non-functional. Get consensus on the documented requirements from all the stakeholders.
  • Translate the system business requirements into system technical requirements for the development team to develop/enhance the system.
  • Maintain requirements traceability, forward and backward, till testing.
  • Understand the reported issues, identify the root cause of the issues, and assist the development team to resolve the reported issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, other IT degrees are required. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
  • 5+ years or relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Ability to analyze and translate business processes into clear and concise technical requirements for process automation utilizing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software.
  • Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and updating application configurations within Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software.
  • Experience with object-oriented design and business process modeling in a low-code development platform.
  • Experience performing analysis, design and application development utilizing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software.
  • Must demonstrate strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate good communication skills

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience installing and configuring OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software in a Windows Server environment
  • Experience performing analysis, design and application development utilizing OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software
  • Experience developing and implementing data mining reports utilizing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software
