Position Overview
The Enterprise Development Executive is a strategic sales role dedicated to providing guidance and thought leadership to Named Account Sales Executives and teams to drive and develop large opportunities including but not limited to multi-year, Enterprise Business Agreements with Autodesk's "Must Win" customers. These agreements are constructed to support deep long-term, win-win business relationships while achieving Autodesk's financial, subscriber and business goals. The role also partners with the account team to develop and drive Expansion opportunities during the term of a customer's Enterprise Agreement, thereby maximizing growth throughout the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Drive thoughtful and effective enterprise sales engagements in collaboration with assigned Named Account Sales Teams resulting in Enterprise Business Agreements
- Be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert on the development, negotiation and closure of Enterprise Business Agreements
- Build and leverage trusted advisor relationships with the account team, management and customers. Coach and mentor Named Account Sales Executives as applicable
- Co-develop comprehensive Account and Opportunity plans with Named Account Sales Executives, including DealMaker
- Create Enterprise Sales proposals that reflect the highest possible value proposition within the context of each customer situation
- Provide Thought Leadership throughout the sales process including, to but not limited to discovery, sales planning (goals, objectives, strategies, tactics), negotiation and closure
- Develop, maintain and leverage understanding of the industry trends, customer "black swans" and market drivers
- Provide insight to internal teams related to enterprise program offerings, pricing, forecasting, go-to-market, etc.
- Leverage proven best practices while continuing to create, develop and implement innovative sales methods
- Collaborate with diverse internal groups to assure success. These include, but are not limited to, Global Services, Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Industry Strategy, Product Development, etc.
- Stay abreast of and apply Autodesk's financial and pricing rules and policies to every proposal and agreement
- Ensure proposals are reviewed and approved by applicable groups (DRB), etc.
- Travel: ~30% (Customer Meetings, Annual Autodesk Corporate Events, Individual Sales Team Meetings, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct sales, technical or customer success experience in large accounts with a consistent record of sales attainment
- Principle-centered with strong business ethics
- Results oriented; strong verbal and written communication skills; self-aware
- Proven ability to develop strong long-term business relationships
- Relationship-based software experience selling into the C suite
- Highly driven, determined, integrity focused & business-oriented
- Must be willing to travel to achieve sales objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success presenting and closing sales agreements with enterprise-level customers
- Ability to communicate well with customers at the senior executive level

- Proficient using Target Account Selling (TAS) and Situational Sales Negotiation (SSN) methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to build complex financial models
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Salesforce
- Creative, Confident, Astute

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $172,200 and $249,260. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
