Enterprise DevOps Engineer I

SUMMARY: The Enterprise DevOps Engineer I role is a technical position focused on the engineering & operational ownership of the Bank's CI/CD DevOps technology platform. The position will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Bank's DevOps technology roadmap as well as maintaining the Bank's CI/CD automation toolsets. The position will contribute towards providing a CI/CD automation platform from which various development teams will build and own their pipelines created to serve their respective product team needs. The position will require cross business and IT team collaboration for maintaining code release procedures which will be enforced through workflow automation as part of the Continuous Deployment process (which will be designed and operated by the DevOps Engineering team).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

• Assist in the ongoing maintenance of the Bank's CI/CD automation framework
• Automate framework for infrastructure provisioning (IaC, Server provisioning, application installs, etc)
• Assist with deployment problems and provide active coordination between various groups in resolving a specific issue
• Provide assistance to DEV and QA groups to include participating in meetings, building out environments, troubleshooting deployment/configuration related problems
• Assist with scripting of Desired Configuration Management (DCM) automations for deployment and enforcement
• Coordinate with SRE team members on key metric tracking and enablement
• Ability to work independently

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
• Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
• Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related fields Or comparable experience in, Computer Information Systems, and/or Engineering with the appropriate emphasis in Cloud and CI/CD automation required

EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of experience in strategy, design, implementation, and support of IaaS and PaaS environments, specifically those leveraging AWS storage, compute, and network technologies
• Experience with architecting and deploying multi-tiered applications
• Experience with configuration management using Ansible or an equivalent
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab or equivalent
• Experience with cloud orchestration tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform (with an emphasis on creating modular design architectures)
• 1+ years of scripting skills in Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc
• 1+ years with infrastructure monitoring toolsets (New Relic, Datadog, or equivalent)
• Experience with monitoring toolsets and logging solutions (CloudTrail, Splunk, or equivalent)
• Working understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Octopus or equivalent
• Exposure to Release Management and Change Control workflow automation
• Experience with AMI Build tooling such as HashiCorp Packer, or equivalent
• Experience with Artifact Repositories such as Artifactory, Nexus, or equivalent
• AWS Certified -- Solutions Architect Associate a plus
