Eaton's Business Relationship Management and Enterprise Service & Performance group has an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for our Revenue Generating Value Chain. This is a functional IT Business Relationship Manager position reporting to the VP IT Business Relationship Management. This role will partner with IT Revenue Generating Value Chain leaders & Product Managers to align roadmaps & prioritize capabilities and investment as defined by Lead IT BRMs and/or Functional Executives in the operations. You will also liaise across Enterprise IT to ensure delivery of business outcomes. This person will join a team of talented IT professionals aligned to different value chains (infrastructure, digital transformation).

The preferred locations for this position are our Beachwood, OH corporate office or Moon Township (Pittsburgh), PA, but other Eaton locations on the eastern half of the US would be considered.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships across Sales, Marketing and Customer Service organizations. Serve as point of contact for sector, businesses and IT in the front-end function.
  • Engage with business and Lead IT BRMs on strategic business and technology plan & priorities - including advancement of standard technologies and decommissioning of technical debt
  • Participate in the definition of enterprise software standards as required by capability needs of the sectors and businesses.
  • Ensure delivery of enterprise capabilities while mitigating constraints in the businesses as required in partnership with Lead IT BRMs
  • Align tactical needs and delivery (i.e. escalations, support or events) with appropriate IT Value Chain teams (revenue-generating, infrastructure services, etc).

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Application experience preferably in a customer or business facing leadership role
  • Experience in commercial applications like Salesforce, configurators, and eCommerce platforms

Preferred Position Qualifications:

  • MBA from an accredited institution
  • Advanced understanding of the business or functional Strategic Plan and process
  • Advanced to SME understanding of some of the business processes of complex, multinational company
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of financial processes.
  • Advanced understanding of business industry trends and applicability to operations or functions
  • Advanced to SME understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function.
  • Proven experiencing of exhibiting a digital mindset through fostering agility and innovation.
  • Proven leadership, talent development and management skills for teams in a global setting

At Eaton, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent. This includes competitive pay and a variety of benefit programs for eligible employees. The expected annual salary range for this role is $131,250 - $192,500 a year.
