What Rockwell Needs from You

We are looking for a Portfolio Subject Matter Expert who will be responsible for the development, implementation, and rollout of an enterprise-wide portfolio management solution.

What You Will Do

• Act of the subject matter for the Agile project management tools
• Support existing users in the adoption and use of Jira, including configuration changes to Jira
• Provide and maintain a 3 -5-year strategic roadmap for the project management tools.
• Develop, evolve, and promote a common consistent Agile methodology using Jira
• Ensure standardization and common usage of the project management tools
• Work with global teams to adopt project management process, methodology, and tools
• Develop and maintain adoption strategy and timeline
• Provide adoption and training collateral to adopting teams
• Measure and maintain the health and performance of the project management tools
• Monitor vendor changes to SaaS project management tools and adapt vendor changes to Rockwell Automation instance
• Act as technical contact for project management tool vendor
• Support the use of Confluence as a collaborative tool
• Monitor the licenses usage and perform routine license harvesting
• Maintain the Project Management SharePoint, including developing of all content

Skills You Have

• Strong leadership skills - The ability to inspire excellence and lead by example
• Exceptional communication and ability to adapt to various levels and styles across the organization
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Knowledge of the SAFE methodology
• Experience with Atlassian management tools; Jira, Jira Align and Confluence
• Experience with Jira Cloud Administration
• Knowledge of RA development practices
• A strong desire to learn new technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people outside of the HPO organization

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of program/project management experience
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with Jira Cloud administration
• Experience in product lifecycle process, including Product Management, and Development Engineering
• Prior experience is developing and rolling out large, complex programs
• Superior written and oral English communications skills, and strong influencing capabilities
