Enterprise Marketing Tag & Strategy Lead
Job Description
We are looking for a Tag Management Leader to lead a team of 5+ professionals in the successful implementation of our paid and owned tag management strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of standard and adtech-floodlight tag management, and be passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that improve the customer experience. This will be a cross-functional role where you will have significant responsibility to drive new capabilities across all facets of the marketing tag management discipline through technology & data. The ideal candidate is analytical, can deftly navigate ambiguity across analytics, consent, and experience tracking, has excellent communication skills, uses experimentation to create competitive advantage, and has great product instincts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of our tag management strategy, including Adtech-floodlight tagging, defining the roadmap, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring alignment with our business goals.
- Manage a team of professionals, providing coaching and mentorship to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and IT, to ensure that our tag management strategy supports our business needs, including Adtech-floodlight tagging.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure that we are using the latest technologies and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits of our tag management solution to ensure that it is working effectively and efficiently.
- Establishes and maintains a global process to govern and educate business teams around tag management process.
- Monitor and analyze standard and floodlight tag performance, providing recommendations for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to ensure that our team members are knowledgeable about our tag management solution.

Required Qualifications:
5 or more years of experience in tag management or related marketing operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Adtech-floodlight tagging, with a proven track record of success in leading teams.
- Expert-level knowledge of tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager and Ensighten, including Adtech-floodlight tagging.
- Expert-level application and knowledge of ancillary analytics and CMS platforms such as Google Analytics, Dynatrace, Sitecore, AEM, etc.
- Strong understanding of marketing technologies and a track record of delivering across tag-related efforts
- Excel at juggling multiple projects, staying organized and prioritizing deadlines
- Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams
- Comfortable in a data-driven business environment and able to pivot readily based on real-time data
- Previous experience working in an agile development environment
- Previous experience with different MarTech tooling
- Understanding of data capture and analysis tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Base Pay Range: $131,300/yr. - $218,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
