Enterprise Network Engineer

JOB SUMMARY: Clair Global, a leading provider of sound reinforcement for the global concert-touring market and provider of technology and service for events and venues globally, is growing its IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and continuously changing environment. Travel both domestically and internationally to visit Clair branch offices and client sites will be required. This position's focus will be working with the Network Architect and Senior Enterprise Network Engineer to design and build a programmable, sustainable and reliable network infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Configure, install, troubleshoot, and support equipment from diverse vendors (i.e Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Silver Peak, VMware, Microsoft)

Support remote and branch office staff and infrastructure;

Tier II support for network related escalation;

Collaborate on design, specification, and installation of campus networks and new construction;

Configure, support, and document network deployments and technology;

Manage and oversee department project and rollouts;

Support internal engineers and external clients regarding network design and related issues.

EXPERIENCE: (SEE FULL JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ALL)

Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF,) and multicast routing (PIM)

General understanding of network security concepts and Qos

Configuration and trouble shooting of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint IPSec VPNs

Troubleshooting fiber optic cabling, copper cabling, and associated electronics

Technical Project Management

DESIRED: Familiarity with Cisco iSE, coding and scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell), network automation (NetBox, Ansible, Salt Stack, Cisco DNA, Nornir), audio/video networks and related protocols (AES67, Dante, IEE1588, SMPTE2110)
