CCO Technology is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join our Enterprise Platform Engineering team in San Antonio, Seattle or remote. In this role, you will be part of a small, mission-driven team, working in close collaboration with other engineers and business stakeholders to deliver systems that enable the business to run optimally and securely.

The Enterprise Platform Engineering team partners with stakeholders from CCO's corporate and regional offices to enhance and improve their technology experience, allowing them to better use technology to perform their job. We are an integral part of ensuring that Clear Channel Outdoor meets its goal of becoming the most technologically advanced OOH company in the world.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively understand and execute on tactical assignments with limited oversight
  • Participate in deep technical discussions with internal teams and external vendors
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and leadership
  • Serve as a point of escalation for front-line end user support teams and other junior team members
  • Develop solutions from proof-of-concept to implementation, ensuring scalability, reliability and recovery requirements are met
  • Evaluate existing technology and architectures to modernize them or eliminate unnecessary bloat
  • Monitor environment and resolve system impacting issues
  • Critical thinking, problem solving abilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Be a champion for change by leading process improvement and adoption efforts to improve productivity and visibility
  • Embrace modern, Agile methods of managing work, to optimize work output and deliver on commitments
  • Flexibility to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis

Work Experience

  • 8+ years of managing and maintaining a hybrid enterprise environment consisting of Windows Server, Windows desktops, and Macs
  • 8+ years of managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and file & print services
  • 4+ years of working in, or managing, a public cloud (AWS or Azure)
  • 4+ years of working with virtualized systems
  • 4+ years of managing Office 365, Intune and Azure AD
  • 2+ years of managing Solarwinds or SCOM
  • 2+ years of managing IDP (Okta)
  • 4+ years of managing backup and data recovery system
  • Strong scripting skills with PowerShell or Python
  • Working knowledge of Terraform
  • Strong ability to create automation that is reusable and transportable

Education and Certifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in relevant field (preferably Information Technology or Computer Science) or comparable work experience
  • Specific certifications relevant to the role are a plus
