Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

Position Overview:

This IT position is responsible for supporting the batch, scheduler, and transport process for our SAP ERP systems at Pratt & Whitney. Working with the application owners, developers, and project managers, the lead will ensure the underlying processes are documented and kept up to date with best practice; develop and implement tools and processes to effectively manage SAP code transports and updates; batch schedule management; and ensure compliance with corporate and Pratt policy with retention of required records and audit support. Reporting to the business and DT management on code change successes, scheduling status and job monitoring and solutions to drive improved processes and job management will be a key focus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support SAP code and job schedule management strategy and road map focused on transport / schedule management tools and best practice processes.
• Ensure system stability and performance as part of implementing KPIs and tools to manage transports and batch execution.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to Pratt project managers, developers, and business users requiring SAP transport or batch management support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in several of the following IT services and technologies:

• SAP code management experience
• SAP batch management experience
• Application development standards, architectures, and best practices
• ITIL certification
• Industry tools used for code management (Transport Profiler, SAP ChARM)
• Industry tools used for batch management (Tidal, Redwood)
• Project management and oversight skills
• Minimal travel expected, 10-15% annually

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical field and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
• Candidate must also have demonstrated leadership of successful process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to effectively influence and direct the actions of those not within the direct reporting chain is essential.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills are required including good written and oral communication capability.
