Summary:
This position is responsible for leading and driving MUFG enterprise-wide execution strategies and plans for the Americas region inclusive of implementing change impacting MUFG clients, contracts, products, operations, controls, vendors and systems.The responsibilities include program/project management, stakeholder communications, interfacing and presenting to regulatory bodies , executive escalation, implementing solutions and plan, providing feedback and challenge as necessary, monitoring of all related activities and transition to BAU.
Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide efforts at the project, workstream, department or program level
- Ability to effectively create and communicate roadmap, timelines, issues, dependencies, and overall program status to all levels
- Ability to facilitate constructive problem solving and innovative solutions with lines of business, support departments and other program teams
- Coordinate with supporting teams where necessary on aligning solutions enterprise-wide and ensuring sustainability in BAU
- Drive progress and develop reporting dashboards for program and key stakeholder review
- Create Work Breakdown Strategy (WBS) and ensure full identification of risks, issues, dependencies
- Streamline and track action plans in the workstream, department or program from Americas and/or Global perspective providing updates to Head Office as needed
- Represent Workstreams for current enterprise-wide programs
- Ability to quickly forge and strengthen relationships with program stakeholders, executive sponsors, and key program team members to ensure timely delivery of program
- Play a critical role as a central contact and keep all stakeholders updated on progress constantly
- Proactively support the Program Lead / Project Managers to create tactical & strategic solutions in partnership with Business and all related support departments
- Review and challenge solutions and plans to ensure readiness with sufficient controls, processes, and resources in place
- Foster group-wide co-operation, co-ordination and communication between the business lines, entities, regions, and support groups
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or advanced degree a plus
- PMP or related certification (optional)
TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES
- WORD/EXCEL/POWERPOINT skill
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience of leading enterprise wide / large scale programs / projects
- 15+ years of work in financial services or relevant work experience
- Ability to effectively and accurately manage large volumes of complex tasks
- Extensive knowledge of FLoD business in Banking or Financial services industry, along with a strong background in product and services supported in those businesses
- Strong leadership and effective communications both internally and externally with all levels to include meaningful experience interfacing with bank regulators and senior executives
