Enterprise Relationship Manager Vice President
Job Description
CAIS is building the first truly open marketplace for alternative investments, where financial advisors and asset managers engage and transact directly on a massive scale. CAIS provides financial advisors with a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes; thus, allowing them to capitalize on opportunities and/or withstand ever-changing markets. Additionally, CAIS provides an industry leading learning system, CAIS IQ, that helps advisors learn faster, remember longer, and improve client outcomes.Â
We are seeking a personable, highly driven, organized, and inquisitive team member to join the Enterprise team comprised of Business Development, Relationship Managers, and Project Managers. This role will work closely with senior members of the Enterprise team, as well as cross-functional leaders spanning the organization. Qualified applicants have a proven track record for supporting complex relationships within financial services and are able to identify synergies between clients and CAIS to provide streamlined platform solutions. This individual must thrive in a quickly evolving environment and be able to pivot priorities with an uncanny attention to detail. They are creative, entrepreneurial problem solvers, and are pro-active, service-oriented collaborators with strong presentation skills to lead client conversations. Please note that applicants must be based in the Greater New York City or Austin Area.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Nurture and deepen existing Enterprise relationships individually as well as in coordination with other team membersÂ
- Collaborate with external and internal Project Managers to strategically implement new business and meet ongoing client requests to ensure continued satisfactionÂ
- Effectively and proactively communicate relationship status to internal stakeholders Â
- Build excellent working relationships across multiple lines of business and corporate functions including Research, Marketing, Product Specialists, Operations, Client Service, and TechnologyÂ
- Develop expertise on CAIS to guide platform adoption with prospective and existing clients.Â
- Proactively cultivate knowledge and understanding of firm initiatives, platform growth, and industry ecosystemÂ
QualificationsÂ
- 4-7+ years of experience in a client service/relationship management role within financial servicesÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline Â
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of the teamÂ
- Excellent relationship management aptitude and attitudeÂ
- Client-first mentality with ability to manage client expectations and requests Â
- Prior experience in a small to mid-sized firm or startup environment preferred Â
- Series 7, 63, and/or 66 within first 3 months of starting Â
