Enterprise Resilience Analyst (Remote) Primary Duties & Responsibilities The Enterprise Resilience (ER) Analyst is a member of the Risk Management team which is managed by the Chief Security Officer and reports up through the General Counsel. The Risk Management team is responsible for enterprise security strategy, governance, business continuity, crisis management, emergency preparedness, safety, facilities, vendor resilience, and physical security. The ER Analyst reports to the Business Continuity Manager and supports the ER Program through plan maintenance, exercise preparation and facilitation, GRC application administration. The candidate that is chosen for this position will work with the Risk Management team that approaches resilience and security as a strategic business partner to address business risk. This provides the unique opportunity to interact with the business at all levels. The candidate will work in a team environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a regular practice for ensuring operational excellence and individual growth.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the ER Programs with:
- Annual refresh of ER documents (policies, standards, procedures, etc.)
- Training and awareness programs that result in personnel being able to respond effectively to incidents
- Annual ER exercises
- Gathering metrics and identify trends in ER practices that improve business resiliency
Assist Business Continuity with:
- Conduct Annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews
- Formalizing, and standardizing business continuity plans
- Periodic reviews and tests to establish effectiveness of business continuity plans and procedures
- Schedules for annual business continuity documentation maintenance and update
- Support business recovery activities in association with Disaster Recovery exercises
- Gather metrics and identify trends in business continuity practices that could improve business resilience
- Assist in the creation and reporting of business resilience metrics that effectively measures program maturity
- Identify and prioritize critical/time-sensitive business processes in order to determine key operational dependencies
- Assist business units with assessment of potential business impacts
- Assess the resources required to support the business
- Analyze findings to ascertain any gaps between the requirements and capabilities available to deliver business processes
Assist Crisis Management program with:
- Administration support role within the incident management team
- Tracking of After Action Report items
- KPIs and KMIs reporting
Other duties as assigned Required Skills
- Strong business process documentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, both in written and verbal forms
- Good collaborator and team player with ability to develop positive relationships
- Must be flexible and maintain a positive "can do" attitude
- Basic skills with MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems, Emergency Administration and Disaster Services, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred requirements: ABCP or CBCP certification
