THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking to add an Enterprise Resilience Leader to its team to help ensure FanDuel is effectively prepared in the event of a disaster, crisis, or business disruption. The Enterprise Resilience Leader will report to the Security Assurance & GRC Senior Director within FanDuel’s Cybersecurity team. This role will have overall responsibility for the establishment of the Company’s Resilience Center of Excellence and drive the consistency and adoption of resilience standards across the organization. A critical success factor in performing this role is the ability to get work done through defined matrix reporting relationships with key stakeholders across the company. Additionally, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, commitment to being a team player, and an aptitude to quickly learn the nuances of a fast-growing company within an expanding industry are all qualities that will help the selected candidate excel in this role.Â
THE GAME PLAN

This position will work with a fantastic group of stakeholders across Flutter’s Resilience Committee and the brands, Cybersecurity, Enterprise IT, Incident Management, Product, Engineering, Communications, Operations, Corporate Security, Legal and Risk & Compliance to: Â
- Champion the development and implementation of a holistic resilience strategy that identifies and mitigates risks, enhances organizational resilience, and ensures continuity of critical operations.Â
- Collaborate on resilience initiatives with key stakeholders and partners across FanDuel including business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management (owned by this leader), cyber & data resilience, IT & tech resilience, emergency management, and third-party risk management (owned by other leaders), to ensure a cohesive and coordinated response during crises.Â
- Serve as the Crisis Commander on FanDuel’s Crisis Management team, responsible for supporting response teams and executives during a widespread incident with decision-making, updates, etc.Â
- Develop and drive the adoption of program tools, templates, techniques, and metrics to ensure employees understand their roles & responsibilities in crisis situations.Â
- Conduct regular risks assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization’s resiliency, both internal and external, and capitalize on opportunities to proactively mitigate exposure during incidents and/or disruptions of service.Â
- Monitor, track, and report on the relevant risks, early-warning indicators, and Company’s overall preparedness to leadership committees (e.g., Risk & Compliance Committee, Flutter ExCo, etc.), including gap analysis of its critical assets and dependencies.Â
- Establish maintenance schedules for periodic resilience documentation, exercises, review and validation.Â
- Identify tooling improvements and oversee the product management of critical resilience software applications, when implemented. Â
- Evaluate the performance of direct reports and assist in the development of goals and objectives to enhance their professional development.Â
- Sustain and develop strong relationships with key vendors, consultants, and customers.Â
- Maintain contact with professional organizations and local/regional/federal emergency response groups to stay informed about relevant laws and regulations to ensure the company’s compliance.Â
- Perform departmental administrative duties including budgeting and needed resources.Â
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
- 12+ years of experience in resilience required. Cross functional experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, IT and cyber resilience, and/or crisis management preferred.Â
- 5+ years in a management role; demonstrated success leading senior professionals and developing a strong organization and workforce in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment.Â
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices in resilience and crisis management.Â
- Professional certifications in crisis management, business continuity planning, disaster recovery preferred (CBCP, MBCP, CISSP, etc.).Â
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities; adept at interfacing with C-suite Executives and effectively managing multiple stakeholder relationships across the organization.Â
- Strong project management experience leading and managing initiatives and driving continuous improvements.Â
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and make timely, critical decisions.Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify risk exposures and implement solutions across existing processes, people, technology, and servicesÂ
- Available 24/7 to drive company crisis response activitiesÂ
- Ability to travel within the US and internationally, as neededÂ

The applicable salary range for this position is $158,000 - $217,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
This role includes flexible time off (including unlimited paid time off for full-time employees) and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws."
