Enterprise Risk Management Lead

We're looking for someone like this to:• lead the design and execution of our risk governance framework across UBS Bank USA ("Bank"), a subsidiary of UBS Group AG, and the overall Wealth Management Americas business• work with the Business and other partners across the firm on implementation of governance and control processes that span all lines of business and risk types including credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance and reputational risk• build-out and lead an Enterprise Risk Management function responsible for the development, refinement, and implementation of comprehensive risk governance framework and risk appetite structure. Focus will be on the delivery of key policies, procedures, and controls that allow the firm to comprehensively identify, assess, and mitigate risks• establish clear and effective risk governance structures with consistent and repeatable processes to evidence adherence to risk management policies and procedures• promote risk management principles and purpose to identify, measure, monitor, control, report, and escalate risk• facilitate the incorporation of risk ownership and independent oversight across the lines of defense

Your team

This will be a small but senior team that directly interacts with senior management and Boards, and will have considerable influence on design choices over how BUSA and GWM Americas structures its risk framework, including the alignment with broader Group and Consolidated U.S. Operations (CUSO) risk appetite and governance.

This will be a highly visible role requiring an individual with considerable knowledge of enterprise risk topics and regulatory expectations, is an experienced team leader that can influence senior stakeholders across the business and control functions, and has a demonstrated track record in successfully leading the design and delivery of risk framework programs in a large bank setting.

Your expertise

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization• demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading cross-functional teams with matrix reporting lines• demonstrated ability to drive complex risk framework change initiatives including oversight of implementation across lines of business in a highly regulatory environment• ideally15+ years of experience in financial services, with significant exposure to enterprise risk management activities and the coordination of large bank change initiatives• bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred but not required• strong understanding of regulatory expectations and governance best practices, including experience coordinating responses to regulatory exams and audits• direct familiarity with OCC supervision and Heightened Standards is a strong plus

Salary information

CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $200,000 to $275,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
