Job DescriptionAs a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to setting organizational policies and guidelines, and guide team members in monitoring changes in internal and external regulations. In this role, you will lead a team in developing and adjusting governance policies (to align with changing needs and external requirements), and monitor and report on activities that require compliance with policies and regulations. You will participate in meetings with regulators and government groups to establish regulatory requirements and strategic plan implementation, as well as lead a team in the implementation of strategic plans in partnership with business units to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

The Enterprise Risk - Corporate Governance - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Lead process for gathering and reporting on information about internal and external policies and guidelines.
- Lead process for developing, reviewing, and editing draft policies and guidelines to align with changes in internal or external needs.
- Lead team activities in monitoring the organization's activities to ensure that they are complying with policies and guidelines.
- Lead investigations into actions or events that do not comply with the organization's policies and guidelines.
- Lead the resolution of compliance issues and report the result.

Skills
- Demonstrated experience independently leading a project across various stakeholders, managing, and reviewing the work of others, and ensuring appropriate documentation of conclusions reached; develop reporting on results of projects.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of the enterprise risk management framework.
- Ability to gather and synthesize information, evaluate the adequacy and appropriateness of processes designed to execute against risk management responsibilities, including the ability to identify risks and controls, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ability to determine the root cause of complex issues, define and recommend solutions, and support their implementation by stakeholders.
- Ability to develop metrics to measure and identify direction and magnitude of (or changes in) the operational risk profile of enterprise risk management and develop appropriate thresholds; and develop reporting on the same.
- Governance and Compliance including creating policies identifying new requirements and proposing updates to existing standards or procedures, evaluating compliance, conducting internal investigations, developing data governance, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters in a manner that is easily understood.
- A highly motivated and organized self-starter with the ability to quickly adjust priorities in a demanding and complex environment.
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
- Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
- Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
