Enterprise Risk Management Senior Manager

Summary

The Enterprise Risk Management Senior Manager leads the development, implementation, and sustainment of an enterprise risk management (ERM) program for the Company. The ERM program will provide a collective view on strategic and emerging risks while also enabling a unified approach and the proactive management of operational, technical, regulatory, and financial risks to help Simplot and its senior leaders create, maximize, and protect value through informed and calculated risk taking.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the strategy for enterprise risk management (ERM) across Simplot's business groups and global services and partner with senior leadership in enhancing the ERM program at Simplot
• Help design and implement the ERM program framework, governance and operating model and tools, technology, training and resources for ERM to facilitate the analysis, monitoring, reporting and management of enterprise risks
• Conduct an annual enterprise risk assessment
• Support a sustainable risk program and promote a risk-awareness culture including establishing an ongoing risk management cadence, test ERM approaches, tools and processes and chair the Company's risk committee that oversees enterprise risks and mitigations
• Maintain program alignment with applicable industry standards and strategic objectives of the organization and support the Senior Director of Internal Audit and ERM in providing monitoring, communication and presentation of Simplot's greatest risks and their mitigation strategies to senior leadership, the Audit & Compliance Committee and Board, when necessary

Typical Education

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

• 8+ years experience and/or training; preferably in Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, Assurance or related field
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly with and present effectively to all levels within the organization
• Knowledge, skill and understanding in applying risk management practices specifically as it relates to ERM (assessment, scoring, tolerance, mitigation/management)
• Thorough understanding of best practices in enterprise risk management and application of frameworks
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills and experience
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
