Provide analytical and project management support to design, implement and execute the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) goals, communication plans and components. Be an important member of the ERM team, ensuring the transformation of the ERM goals into an ongoing aspect of the Bank's risk management processes, culture and way of doing business. Participate in system workgroups and project teams. Provide ad-hoc support to senior management. The level of work is considered advanced. You will have no direct reports. You will report to the ERM Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead high-priority District projects related to ERM.
- Manage the Control Environment Assessment for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including the annual Control Environment survey administration, analysis and action planning process.
- Design, leads and conducts facilitated risk and control sessions to gather risk-related information from senior management and departments.
- Work with departments, help identify risk exposures; develop important risk indicators and risk-related reporting; monitor thresholds and report risk indicators to our organization; may develop risk models.
- Support department projects by leading and implementing consulting engagements; project scope is typically complex and sensitive in nature; manage scope, schedule and resources to meet project deliverables; direct multi-departmental and business-specific project teams in completing project deliverables.
- Develop ERM risk management training tools, presentations, and other ERM educational materials; facilitate training sessions to Bank users on ERM technology and overall ERM goals and risk management principles.
- Seek creative solutions in the implementation of assigned projects and identify improvement opportunities as the ERM program is developed.
- Maintain a high level of working knowledge regarding ERM industry practices, COSO control practices and project management disciplines; understand and promote risk management, project management and process-improvement practices.
- Maintain understanding of the major departments and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve, both within the district and across the system.
- Work with internal audit, external auditors, Board of Governors staff and departments to achieve ERM goals.
- Support Senior Management by providing ad-hoc planning, analytical and project support.
- Provide guidance to less experienced analysts; may assign tasks to multi-departmental project teams and more junior staff.
- Provide analytical support for Office of Directors.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 plus years of related working experience; audit, regulatory or other similar experience
- Experience managing complex project management, risk management and control disciplines, new business processes, developing project plans and deliverables
- Experience applying, interpret, and explain complex data
- Excellent facilitation experience
- Outstanding teamwork and ability to collaborate with all levels, including partnering and challenging executive leaders
