Enterprise Risk Sr. Analyst

Position Summary

Assist the Risk and Compliance Group Manager in the management of enterprise risk activities. This position will coordinate exams and ad hoc request with external regulators and be involved with succinctly summarizing Texas Capital risks for executive management and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a liaison between examiners and the internal subject matter experts to ensure timely, accurate and complete responses.
• Distribute exam status and results to Senior and Executive Management.
• Assist second line of defense Risk Category Owners with quarterly Executive Risk Committee and Board of Directors Committee reporting.
• Review and provide independent challenge to risk assessments and other materials presented to the Executive Risk Committee and Board Committees.
• Participate in the review and challenge of Policies and Programs each quarter.
• Assist with communicating relevant issues and scope information across business lines as appropriate.
• Coordinate the risk portion of the new products and services assessment process with all impacted risk categories.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of operational, credit, compliance, regulatory risk experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience; relevant graduate degree a plus.
• Specific knowledge of risk management frameworks, audit risk assessments, corporate governance, process improvement, project management, and/or regulatory requirements preferred.
• Experience in auditing and project management or similar background; prefer experience in the financial services industry with Texas Capital or at large or regional banks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish positive working relationships throughout the organization and with audit/exam constituents.
• Results-oriented working in a team-focused, collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability in communicating effectively, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate the work of others.
• Effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Well organized and detail-oriented to handle diverse and concurrent assignments.
• Experience with Archer is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft application knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and aptitude for grasping and using various bank software applications.
