Role Responsibilities + Essential Function

  • New logo acquisition: identify and engage prospects with a primary focus on mid-to-large size dedicated and/or for-hire carriers (asset-based).ย 
  • In conjunction with Customer Success, foster and develop relationships with new and existing customers.ย 
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) in conjunction with Customer Success team.ย 
  • Track all account activity in Salesforce.
  • Leverage your experience as a sales executive to get Optimal Dynamics in front of senior leadership at target prospects.
  • Cultivate executive sponsorship by demonstrating your depth of industry and market knowledge.
  • Contribute to new business acquisition through consultative selling and creative vision.
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing.
  • Manage mission critical issues and ensure overall customer relationships are thriving.
  • Remain up-to-date on logistics, supply chain, and transportation trends.
  • Stay vigilant on competitive service offerings and technology platform innovations.
  • Work in your respective market, traveling up to 50% or more when necessary.ย 

Education and/or Relevant Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise SaaS/technology space.ย 
  • 3+ years of experience in a logistics, transportation or supply chain solutions role.
  • Experience working with mid-market carriers a major plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with other functions within a sales organization.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with advanced presentation abilities.
  • Strong ability to quickly build trust with different levels of management.
  • High level of initiative and hustle.
  • Able to work independently, as the role will not be based out of an office.
