Our Portfolio & Risk Analytics (PORT Enterprise) solution helps portfolio and risk managers achieve performance and risk objectives by providing unmatched transparency into each portfolio's historical attribution, characteristics, and ex-ante risk. From one centralized location, our series of powerful, integrated multi-asset tools deliver consistent and detailed insight into the client's portfolio. Utilizing this service enables our enterprise clients to create and execute differentiating investment strategies accordingly.

What's the role?

As part of the Buy-side Enterprise Services team, you will work in a client facing role which involves liaising with portfolio and risk managers, analysts, quants, traders, and back/middle-office professionals. We are looking for individuals with a basic level of understanding of Financial Markets, Economic Theory, Portfolio Attribution/Performance, Portfolio Risk/Tracking Error, and Asset Class Characteristics/Analytics/Performance Calculations.

You will help support our largest buy-side PORT Enterprise clients' complex questions involving portfolio performance, security analytics, risk, and workflow setup.

This is a highly visible role with opportunities for career advancement and growth within the department or company, such as becoming a Product Advocate within the team, or progressing to a PORT Enterprise Sales role, moving into a leadership position, or pursuing a role in our Product or Implementation teams.

We'll trust you to:

• Develop a deep understanding of our portfolio product offering so that you are able to quickly assess and support client related inquiries
• Utilize your product knowledge and excellent communication skills to establish credibility, build rapport, and maintain relationships with our largest clients
• Provide regular client training
• Work with our PORT Sales team when pitching PORT Enterprise packages
• Directly assist with onboarding new clients
• Keep up to date with market trends and understand the impact these trends have on our clients' investment decisions and strategies.
• Actively generate leads and contribute to sales campaigns while prioritizing product enhancement requests for our Product and Engineering teams
• Provide curated customer-service oriented solutions to complex requests

You'll need to have:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Japanese and English
• Experience working within or supporting buy-side financial institutions
• Basic understanding of characteristics/analytics/performance calculations of major asset classes
• Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk and attribution analysts
• Ability to build relationships across various stakeholder levels (technical contacts, product managers, traders, executive team etc.).
• Strong analytical skills to efficiently evaluate complex problems and provide solutions
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and be a self-start and proactive collaborator
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to assist with product roll-outs and project management work
