Grange provides a unique internship experience through the Grange Intern Development Program. The 10-week program is designed to expose students to the insurance industry through networking, mentoring, hands-on work experience, and community service. The interns will work day-to-day in their respective departments while also working as a group on a corporate project, as well as community and team building events. What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with Supply Chain Manager on a risk scoring campaign
  • Send preparatory and follow up communications
  • Create the campaign in the sourcing system and send out the questionnaires
  • Monitor and manage the progress
  • Analyze the results
• Update data elements throughout our Sourcing System-Ivalua to enrich active contract records and audit existing data within those records.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to increase spend with diverse suppliers.
• Research and suggest opportunities to reduce overall spend through demand management/supplier consolidation opportunities
• Assist in data conversion project moving the remaining legacy contracts into Grange's Sourcing Lifecycle system, Ivalua.
• Shadow Category Managers on Request for Proposal (RFP) efforts
• Lead Request for Quote (RFQ) efforts
• Other projects as assigned

What You'll Bring To The Company

• Majoring in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or other applicable fields
• Desire to utilize and enhance Microsoft Excel skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
