Job Description

Sol Systems is seeking a Summer Intern to help support the Enterprise team. As part of the Enterprise team the intern will work directly with Fortune 500 partners to support their transition to renewable energy through Sol Systems multiple solutions; on-site and offsite solar, environmental commodities, and solar investing opportunities.

In this role, the intern will be expected to support proposal creation, research, strategy development, and process development, helping team members interact with large corporate clients and community impact partners.

The Enterprise Intern will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting the creation of tools for measurement and tracking of project and community impact
  • Assisting in project financial modeling and proposal development
  • Supporting pricing, analysis, market research, and project development
  • Assisting deal in transaction closings
  • Assisting in the creation of project, sales, and management reporting tools
  • Completing critical research on company's renewable energy goals and progress

A successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Undergraduate majoring in a business, environmental studies, and/or quantitative discipline, or MBA student or economics/statistics/finance graduate student
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • PowerBi or other technical reporting skills a plus
  • Strong interest to enter the solar industry
  • Highly organized individual
  • Creative problem solver

Location & Hours: This is a hybrid intern position, based out of our Washington DC office. This is a full-time intern role with an estimated 40 hours/week. 

Commitment & Compensation: This is a paid internship. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
