Enterprise Technology Engineer, Enterprise Engineering - Integrations

Enterprise Engineering - Integrations is a global team of IT Systems Engineers building high volume, resilient data pipelines and service integrations that allow disparate systems to communicate seamlessly. We create and manage data pipelines that connect our employee HRIS to multiple downstream services such as Slack, Atlassian, Github, and more, ensuring consistent and accurate identity and access management through user metadata and group memberships. Additionally, we build service integrations that manage physical security systems, and many others that keep the Datadog wheels turning.
As an IT Systems Engineer on the Enterprise Engineering - Integrations team, you will help us move faster and more efficiently by writing code to connect systems via APIs and custom workflow automations. Datadog is scaling very quickly and we need your help!

What You'll Do:

• Design and build scalable tools that have company-wide impact
• Write code to create integrations between disparate cloud services using APIs
• Own and manage business critical cloud infrastructure and applications
• Work with security and compliance teams to support compliance efforts
• Solve new and complex IT challenges
• Participate in team on-call rotation

Who You Are:

• Someone with significant experience in one or more languages (e.g. Python, Java, Go or Ruby)
• Someone with significant hands-on experience working with SaaS offerings and their API endpoints
• Someone with experience designing data pipelines and integrations with high volume and throughput
• Technical, love automating things and designing for scale
• Someone with excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Eager to work in a fast pace, high growth startup environment
• You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent professional experience

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $110,000 - $142,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
