We are currently seeking a Enterprise Tools SDM to join our team in Washington (100% Remote), District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Position Summary

The incumbent leads the development and implementation of delivery strategies of IT tools solutions to our Federal Government customer with users across the globe. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring quality, timing, and financial delivery objectives are met by the team, and identifies opportunities for account growth and innovation. The incumbent will inspire the tools team to look for better all the time and should strive to proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution, to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement. The incumbent should build and sustain effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an effort to maximize the customer experience while developing and maintaining strong relationships with the customer's leadership team. This leader will be the face of the tools team and will brief to audiences of various levels within the organization and varied levels of technical acumen.

Job Description:

  • Lead a team of engineers who tune, administer, and maintain a diverse set of tool platforms including Science Logic, Net LineDancer, Entrust Identity Server, RSA , SysTrack, ServiceNow, and more.
  • Become familiar with contractual requirements in order to ensure that the teams are delivering the services that are required.
  • Participate in the review and approval of documentation of work instructions and SOPs to ensure the proper level of detail. Review customer requested changes to SOPs to ensure those changes do not move outside the scope of the contractual obligations.
  • Participate in the weekly RCA meeting and help review and update RCAs as required. Help identify possible improvement ideas from RCA documents.
  • Create and track improvement plans when required/requested, and brief internal and customer leaders on progress as required.
  • Become familiar with the CLIN structure and the financials for your area of responsibility and manage to those constraints.
  • Look for opportunities for account growth and bring those forward.
  • Seek and implement efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that the engineers who maintain these tools are cross-trained in order to provide deeper coverage and allow for team members to go on vacation.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly internal and customer meetings and brief on behalf of the tools engineers.
  • Ensure that all reporting whether ad hoc or regular contractual deliverable is delivered at the proper quality and is on time
  • Work closely with other support teams to ensure our hosted environments are updated with latest builds and are configured appropriately for upcoming feature explorations.
  • Ensures processes and technical skills are in place to perform consistently and deliver high quality results and value to customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Interim Secret security clearance required to start
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in an IT role, to include:
    • 5 years of customer facing management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial/leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference would be given to those candidates with 2-3 years of experience managing infrastructure tools Entrust Identity Server, RSA and Science Logic
  • Technical certifications are a plus
  • ITIL Foundation certification is a plus
  • Graduate Degree is preferred
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to simultaneously track multiple high priority activities and projects and manage messaging and updates.
  • Systematic approach to solving problems, coupled with a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple remote team members that are a mix of employees and subcontractors.

For Colorado Candidates

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is Min: $110,500 - Max: $202,500. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
