Enterprise Training & Development Specialist

The Enterprise Training & Development Specialist Will be tasked with the overall training and talent development programming strategy for Premier Services to ensure that all teams consist of a diverse set of highly qualified individuals. This role works in partnership with HR Business Partners, Premier Services leaders and Program teams to align the Premier Services end-to-end hiring process with clear expectations for managers and new hires. In addition, the Enterprise Training & Development Specialist will be responsible for the delivery and administration of all Premier Services learning programs and systems while serving as a performance consultant in support of both individual needs and the specific goals of Premier Services.

  • Produces programs, processes, strategies and tools to support Premier Services hiring objectives, learning programs and development opportunities for all Premier Services individuals and teams.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and works with Premier Services leaders, managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to develop a delivery strategy for training and development programs.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing gaps/needs in all areas of the Premier Services organization.
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of Premier Services leadership and staff.
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements and role clarity for each position.
  • Identify and refine the most suitable talent from available candidates.
  • Creates, implements, conducts and sustains delivery specific development and training programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Manages preparation and execution of talent development programs and programming.
  • Partners with the Operations & Process Innovation team and Premier Services leaders to create new development programs as needed; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs.
  • Collaborates with HRBPs to coach and educate Premier Services individuals and teams in our learning curriculum and talent processes; build capabilities of business leaders to develop talent (high performing team interventions, etc.)
  • Conducts 1:1 or small group coaching sessions to identify areas for positive development, creates Action Plans to address development opportunities and conducts regular follow-up meetings to monitor progress.
  • Identifies relevant “best practices” through benchmarking (KPIs) and recommends specific programs, processes, tools, and methodologies to address Premier Services business and strategy objectives and priorities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development programs.
  • Skill and experience in using learning management systems
  • Advanced skill in applying best practices and latest trends in a practical way that appropriately fits the organization
  • Advanced skill in effectively partnering with leaders to design ad hoc/custom learning and development solutions
  • Advanced communication skills, including verbal and written to all levels of an organization
