Sr Lead Architect

The Senior Lead Engineer & Architecture oversees the development of multiple types/categories of technical architecture and operating systems for running end user applications. Working in partnership with other leaders, this job develops and implements new products, processes, standards and operational plans that directly impact the department. This job is a recognized master in the Information Systems Architecture field.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Leads complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.
• Audits systems design and technology constraints in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Oversees development of key capabilities and performance requirements when developing system architectures.
• Approves technical specifications and standards for layered and multidimensional models.
• Delivers solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
• Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly to other leaders within the organization.
• Develops complex data modeling and implements advanced project management processes.

Educational Requirements

• University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

• 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Required Skills:

• 5+ years as a Solution Architect focused on designing and integrating enterprise class solutions, both custom build and off the shelf.
• A background as an engineer primarily experienced with Java and .Net.
• Experience working with Asset Management or Financial services industry and across various lines of business.

Preferred Skills:

• Currently a practicing solution architect.
• A practicing user of AWS services, across both the application and data stack, having completed and deployed projects within the past 12 months.
• Experience Designing end to end solutions.
• Experience working with Senior stake holders.
• Specific experience using broad technology stack including: Java, .Net, React/Angular and a range of industrial off the shelf tools, and best practices implementations across the asset management industry
