EquityBee is seeking our first ever Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR). This key stakeholder will be an experienced tech entrepreneur or product leader, with a proven track record - who will report directly to the CEO.

As EIR, you will lead a startup within a startup. You will be tasked with researching new product opportunities, making strategic decisions, setting business goals, and executing on them. In other words, you will build and launch new products into the market, from initial concept, to MVP, to full scale. As the leader of new product initiatives you will report directly to the CEO and have a major impact on the trajectory and future of the company.

Responsibilities
  • Leads the research, developments, and launches of our new products.
  • Identifies and interprets market trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Makes strategic decisions and executes on business goals.
  • Manages and collaborates cross-functionally across all departments.
  • Launches new products from the ground up, from research, to MVP, to full scale.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where talent, creativity, results and impact are valued over anything else.
  • The EIR is a key communicator of ideas, a fast learner, self-driven, and entrepreneurial with a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements

  • Past experience as a startup entrepreneur / founder or a senior product leader.
  • Entrepreneurial in vision, and results oriented.
  • 6+ years of product or business management experience at a consumer-focused company.
  • Must have experience driving product development from conception to launch, and scaling a high growth product.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Business.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in people management and leadership roles.
  • Stellar communicator and relationship builder; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
  • A strategic thinker who can balance the big picture with detailed execution.
  • A strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to inspire and galvanize multi-disciplinary teams.
