Your Role and Responsibilities

• Automation: Develop and maintain Python scripting solutions to automate data collection processing and analysis tasks enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Data Science: Collaborate with teams to construct usable data sets from various structured and unstructured sources enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Software Development: Contribute to software development projects utilizing your strong fundamentals in computer science to design and implement solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Problem-Solving: Approach technical issues creatively employing debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve problems effectively.
• Communication: Work collaboratively within a team demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts and solutions clearly.
• Applying data engineering techniques to gather prepare cleanse and transform data for analysis automation and AI.
• Data Modelling: Apply basic understanding or experience with predictive/prescriptive modelling techniques to derive insights from data.
• Agile Development: Embrace Agile Development Methodologies and Design Thinking principles to drive innovation and streamline project delivery.
• Cloud Integration: Develop a basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure etc. and explore opportunities to leverage cloud services for analytics and data processing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science Data Science Math Statistics Engineering or equivalent technical degree/experience.
• You are great at solving problems debugging troubleshooting and designing & implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities a knack for driving impact and growth and some experience with programming/scripting in a language such as Python or Java
• Understanding of statistical programming in a language such as Python R or SAS.
• Demonstrate a growth mindset; current on technical growth in the data science space
• Familiarity constructing usable data sets from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• You thrive on teamwork using excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding or experience with predictive/prescriptive modeling skills
• You have an interest in understanding of or experience with Design Thinking and Agile Development Methodologies
• You have a basic understanding of Cloud (AWS Azure etc.)
