Job Description

Ready for a new and exciting challenge? Want to put your degree to work? Torch Technologies is seeking an Entry Level Hypersonic Simulation Developer / Analyst to join a small, healthy and growing Modeling & Sim (M&S) team developing and refining a hypersonic weapon simulation on a powerful new computing cluster. The aerothermal analysis building blocks are maturing, but they need to be integrated and the data flow streamlined so we can increase throughput. Technical and personal growth opportunities abound as the team expands in size and scope to develop additional capabilities within the sim over the next several years. Get a chance to interact with multiple government agencies and contractors as the weapon system matures. Grow your knowledge of hypersonic weapon behavior and overall missile system simulation as you help develop this sim. Previous experience in these areas is desired but not required.

Job Requirements

• Experience with Matlab or Python is required. C/C++ and scripting language experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is desired.
• Education requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics from an Accredited University with 0-2 years experience.
• Position requires that candidate can acquire and maintain a secret level security clearance. Inability to acquire or maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
