How You Will Make an Impact:

The Desktop Analyst will work as part of a small team at a fast paced, high-energy manufacturing environment at both the Kermit TX and Monahans TX locations.  Looking for a super-sharp, fast learner who has strong interest in Systems, Networking and Desktop support.  Must be comfortable working in both a manufacturing environment outdoors, and office environments.   

Responsibilities:

• Expand systems and network administration knowledge
• Learn Virtualization technologies, such as Hyper V, Veeam, VMWare
• Provide end-user support via ticketing system, phone, and direct request
• Assist Systems administrators with assigned tasks
• Assist in creation of documentation to formalize processes and procedures
• Respond to after hours requests and escalate when needed
• Deploying IT/OT assets for the enterprise environment
• Assist in back-up procedures

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment both indoors and outdoors
• Demonstrate the ability providing desktop support for local and remote office staff
• Ability to support various desktop software
• Familiarity with the networking roles including Routers and Switches
• Ability to follow direction
• Must multitask efficiently in a high-energy fast pace office
• Willing to work at multiple geographic locations within Texas (Primarily Kermit and Monahans)
• Demonstrates and exercises good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Willing and able to work flexible hours, and be “on-call” after hours, on demand
• Willing and able to accept new tasks as assigned
• Have a friendly and supportive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-player mindset
• AAS in a technical field such as Computer Science is preferred
• Exposure in related functions and/or industries
• Experience triaging IT/OT related issues in person or over the phone
