Entry Level QA Engineer

Role Summary

As a Junior / Entry Level QA Engineer you will work as part of the development team and contribute to the QA process, including authoring of automated integration tests. Key to the role is interfacing with external teams to assist with integration of systems and flow of data into the wider product set. It is understood that QA is a full team effort, you will be supported and encouraged to follow best practices in terms of procedures and new technologies to advance the product and your career.

This role will fit a recent graduate with or without an year in industry seeking their 1st commercial role in the QA space.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with our product team and architects to understand requirements
• Provide assurance for products used by Security Operations customers.
• Partner effectively with the internal and external team members to exercise requirements
• Code and implement automated integration tests to deliver against project timelines, quality and requirements
• Be able to capture and track quality metrics to assess product quality and requirement deliverables
• Support and guide other engineers in production of quality deliverables

What You Will Bring

• Passion for the delivery of exceptional products though quality assurance
• Software development experience, preferably expertise in web technologies such as API’s And Web UI’s
• Awareness of cloud-based systems, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies preferably Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and lateral thinking
• Aptitude at independent research, prototyping and design
