Entry-Level Systems Design Engineer
Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join our advanced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) simulation team. Candidates should have experience in system analysis and simulation with an interest in the development of complex AMD simulations and their use in evaluating system performance. Experience with C++ and Fortran programing languages is desired. Successful candidate will execute and analyze simulation output in order to assess system performance and to ensure accurate representation of simulated systems, including RF sensors, fire control, battle manager, and interceptor subsystems. Experience developing simulation data analysis tools utilizing Python and/or MATLAB is desired.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited college or university
- 0 - 2 years of system design and analysis experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Proficiency in C++ programming language
- Knowledge of Fortran programming language a plus
- Experience in data analysis tool development utilizing Python and/or MATLAB
- Experience with simulation development and analysis
- Position requires the candidate meet the requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for the position
