Job Description
Seeking a Entry-Level Systems Engineer/Analyst for the execution and evaluation of Software/Hardware-in-the-Loop (S/HWIL) system and component level tests supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Software / Hardware in the Loop (S/HWIL) testing of the Army IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS)
- Assist in the Integration of key GSIL Test architectures from cable installation to Software checkout.
- Execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures from the defined test objectives for the system under test.
- Use analytic tools to verify test design
- Analyze tests in progress and test data; collect and report observations including off-nominal data to assist analysis
- Perform tests of software and/or IT systems.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Associate of Science from an ABET accredited university with 2+ years relevant experience or Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited university with 0-2 years relevant experience.
Desired Experience:
- Linux
- Basic networking (IP, routing)
- Formal software testing
- Test tools utilized to simulate data input or data capture
- Integrating and troubleshooting software and hardware within a simulation environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Minimal travel required.
