Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead a team of Co-Ordinator(s) and Analysts on daily basis to ensure smooth functionality and consistent uptime with client environments.

• Lead the team in discussions regarding reviews, escalations, and critical events with key consumers of environments and incorporate feedback.

• Lead the review existing processes, tools and technology being used at client and provide recommendations on enhancements.

• Assisting & guiding team in triaging critical incidents & representing team in CAB calls.

• Regular catch-up with client environment leads to understand upcoming scope and resolve conflicts.

• Designing and deploying the technology architecture used by business applications, including the underpinning infrastructure and middleware components required by each application

• Adhering to and contributing to IT security and environment standards and policies

• Contributing to developing optimised design and delivery processes using automation, process improvement and the introduction of new technologies

• Contributing to project delivery activities, including planning and estimating and status reporting

• Supporting non-production environments through Incident, Problem and Change processes

Skills Required:

• Certification and/or training on ITIL v4.

• Advance level of hands-on experience with VMware, Azure & AWS cloud technologies.

• Good understanding & experience with SDLC lifecycle 

• Good understanding of scripting tools including Terraform, Python, bash/shell/PowerShell.

• Well versed with Windows and Linux Operating Systems installation, configuration, day-to-day operations & troubleshooting of L2 incidents for instances configured in On-premises and/or cloud.

• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and mySQL

• Understanding of network, operating system and storage domains

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps

Due to the secure nature of the role, Australian citizens with a federal government security clearance will be preferred.
