The Position
As an Environment Program Associate you will provide program management support, administrative assistance, research and impact analyses to our Program Leads across our U.S. and international cities work. Â

Strong written and oral communications, attention to detail, flexibility/availability and project management skills are a must. You’re a team player who can manage multiple priorities, work with many stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Â
The role is based in NYC and will require occasional travel.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Provide day-to-day support to the Program Manager including: scheduling meetings, proactively anticipating administrative needs, arranging travel, and managing expensesÂ
- Prepare written materials, including one-pagers, memos, briefings, and presentation slidesÂ
- Run weekly check in meetings and manage weekly and monthly goals for projectsÂ
- Conduct research and analysis related to U.S. and international cities climate work.Â
- Develop briefings and updates for leadership on progress and key policy developmentsÂ
- Track and report progress in target geographies in coordination with grantees, consultants, and other partnersÂ
- Support Program Manager with grants management including: due diligence, proposal and budget review, and coordination with grantees on submissions and deadlinesÂ
- Provide support for events and partner meetings, including invite lists, guest correspondence, materials, and preparationÂ
- Field inquiries to appropriate team members, respond to employee and outside inquiries, and ensure timely response to urgent issuesÂ
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Demonstrable passion for environmental and climate-related issuesÂ
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively interface with senior level colleagues, both verbally and writtenÂ
- Excellent organizational and time management skillsÂ
- Experience and capability in effectively managing/coordinating simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with sound judgmentÂ
- Ability and desire to build and maintain strong relationships with team and applicable internal and external contactsÂ
- Ability to perform and adapt under pressureÂ
- Excellent attention to detail. Strong writing and editing abilityÂ
- Analytical thinker with strong research skillsÂ
- Proactive, can-do attitudeÂ
- Good judgment with ability to protect confidential and sensitive information on behalf of the organizationÂ
- Strong overall computer skills. Proficient in MS Suite specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointÂ

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
Annual Salary Range
$68,000—$85,000 USD
