The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Organization’s purpose is to ensure regulatory compliance, employee safety through training and controls, and to promote Motorola Solutions as a global leader in EHS performance.Job Description
The position of EHS Field Services Specialist will provide technical expertise, implementation of protocols and guidance for safety, occupational health, and environmental programs and services, including:
Evaluating and monitoring company practices to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations for both MSI employees and subcontractors working on MSI projects
Working with Field Services Teams to understand risks and assist them with identifying solutions, including developing procedures, completing onsite inspections, and conducting job hazard analysis.
Developing and delivering EHS Training courses, Toolbox Talks, etc specifically designed to address the varied hazards associated with Field Service and/or office work. Training will include instructor-led, webinar and online formats.
 Assisting with accident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions for Field Service employees, in order to reduce accidents and injuries
Providing oversight of the Field Services contractor safety program
Working closely with the Pre-Sales Teams to assist in both evaluating EHS concerns and providing solutions to assist with the project bidding and contract negotiation process

This position will also work closely with global, country, and regional management teams to develop new initiatives for workplace safety programs that result in reduced injury and illness rates throughout the Motorola Solutions - North America Field Services organizations.
Preferred Skills:
BS in Occupational Safety, or related engineering or physical science degree
5-10 years of progressive experience implementing EHS procedures and initiatives in construction and general industry environments.
Extensive knowledge of construction worksite safety practices and applicable EHS related regulations and standards, effective accident investigation and root cause analysis skills, corrective action planning, Job Hazard Assessments, industrial and office ergonomics, basic use of IH monitoring devices and techniques
Working knowledge of the ISO 14001 / 45001 standards
Safety Professional Certification is a plus
Ability to develop, coordinate and deliver EHS training. OSHA-Certified “Authorized Trainer” for Construction Safety or regional equivalent is a plus
 Fluency in Spanish is a plus
 Proficient in Google Suite and related computer skills
Experience with Avetta, ISN or similar platforms is a plus
This position will require up to 10% travel within North America to visit Field Service locations.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
5-10 years professional experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.Â
