Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Intern

Our Company:Β ISN was established in 2001 and is a global leader in contractor and supplier management.Β We work closely with a variety of household-name clients in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East to connect them with safe and reliable contractors and suppliers and incorporate a level of due diligence in the contractor management process.
Job Summary: The ESG Internship program gives college students an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in ISNβs products and services. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with Clients across a variety of industries to understand their ESG or Sustainability objectives and provide solutions for facilitating the completion of those objectives using ISNetworld. The position requires that one be a self-starter, possess basic knowledge of the various ESG standards and be willing to assist with all day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and propose ESG solutions for Clients and Contractors
- Perform desktop audits of ESG related policies, programs, and certificates and communicate compliance/gaps regarding regulatory requirements
- Participate in the implementation of sales and marketing projects
- Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
- Research and develop various resources and reference documents for customers
- Make recommendations for service offerings based on industry trends and regulations
Education and Training
- Currently studying for a degree in Environmental, Sustainability, or related field
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail applications
- Demonstrated personal initiative
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office and be willing to come into the office for required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings.Β
