Environmental Test Engineer

NVIDIA Networking Business Unit is seeking an experienced Environmental Test Engineer to join our qualification team responsible for evaluating and validating networking products in our state-of-the-art environmental test lab. NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. We offer market-leading solutions that include adapter cards, switches, cables and software to support networking technologies. Our products optimize data center performance and deliver industry-leading bandwidth and scalability. In addition, we serve a wide range of markets including high performance computing, enterprise, data centers, cloud computing, big data, and Web 2.0. What you will be doing:

• Conduct environmental testing on networking equipment using various test chambers
• Design and execute test plans for temperature, humidity, altitude, and other environmental factors
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports
• Troubleshoot issues with test equipment and networking devices under test
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and performance
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Document test procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we need to see:

• Practical engineer or B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in environmental testing of electronic products
• Extensive knowledge of environmental test chambers and procedures and industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with personnel from all levels of the organization
• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies
• Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
