EOS Network Operations Technical Administrator

KBR is seeking to hire a Technical Administrator to provide support to EOS (Earth Observing Systems) Network Operations team and our Earth Science data distribution (ESDIS) and mission operations (ESMO) customers.

Netops is a network and security service provider that manages EBNet (EOS Backbone Network) at the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt Md and remote locations around the world.

This role on the GSMO (Ground System Mission Operations) contract entails working with team members and other contractors and government elements to support users and equipment management for the various Netops managed systems on EBNet.

Job duties will include performing, managing, and tracking:

• Provisioning user accounts for multi-factor authentication, remote access, and other Netops' managed systems.
• Support user troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues and escalate as required.
• Manage equipment and software procurements and maintenance renewals.
• Work with engineers to identify procurement requirements, develop bill of materials (BOMs) and solicit quotes from vendors.
• Once the equipment is received update the tracking database and support on-boarding and accreditation activities when it is deployed.
• If the device is to be deployed remotely coordinate the delivery of the equipment.
• Receive input and create cloud BOMs in support of Netops' and partner cloud efforts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Associate degree
• 8 + years of relevant work experience
• Communicates effectively and proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams
