EPC Senior Manager

The Customer Installations Group is now seeking to add a Senior Manager to its Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) organization. This position will be responsible for qualifying, developing and managing EPC companies from proposal stage through contract execution.

This role will report to the Sr. Director of EPC programs and will be based in San Jose, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Qualify and Develop EPC companies to successfully partner and execute on our projects.
• Improve Scope of Work documents, prepare comprehensive EPC training programs and customer presentations.
• Incorporate Lessons Learned from project execution into EPC facing documents.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Legal and Finance to provide support to EPCs and ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Support the EPC and Bloom Project Management / Client Delivery Executive teams to manage customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
• Assist the Installation Planning teams (IPT) in pricing negotiations with EPC companies, setting targets and enabling competitive offers.
• Work closely with Electrical Gear Suppliers and EPC companies to develop comprehensive strategies for project schedule risk mitigation.
• Partner with Sales and EPC teams to devise winning strategies for market opportunities.
• Train and mentor other EPC team members.

Education & Experience:

• 10 - 12+ years of relevant work experience in a customer facing role.
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
• Excellent written comprehension and communication skills
• Construction and Energy Industry experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working independently, working with a degree of ambiguity, and working with people in a variety of roles.

Salary Ranges:

$137,800.00 - $198,200.00
