Responsibilities

Due to the continued growth of our internal portfolio of transformation projects and program, the internal firm facing ESO Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) team is currently recruiting for a Remote EPM Manager to join our team. As a core member of the EPM team, you will directly contribute to some of the most important internal transformation project and programs in our firm which include operating and growing the business, serving the client, developing the best people, and shaping our culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale internal firm-facing business transformation projects, both technical and not-technical in nature.
  • Define, scope, and drive the overall project plan throughout all core phases and sub-phases of the project lifecycle: ideation, business case development, chartering, design / development, integration, organizational change management, training, release management, support, close-out, and post close benefits realization and tracking.
  • Monitor and manage the project plan to provide a complete picture of project heath and progress throughout all phases of the project lifecycle; actively manage critical path.
  • Ensure daily activities undertaken on the project are executed in accordance with the approved project plan and internal firm-facing PPM standards and practices.
  • Ensure that the project produces the required deliverables on time, within budget, and at the necessary levels of quality outlined in the charter and project plan.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the full project budget throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries.
  • Ensure that all required resources are assigned to the project and clearly tasked with the appropriate tasks, deliverables, and project related activities.
  • Manage assigned resources according to the defined scope of the project, lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Identify and manage/co-manage key project related issues and risks in collaboration with the assigned owner(s), devise issues and risks mitigation/resolution plans.
  • Identify, manage, and monitor project dependencies and interdependencies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the project team, project leadership, EPM/Innovation/Product Solutions functions, key stakeholders/stakeholder groups (internal/external) and select members of the executive leadership team.
  • Manage third party vendor relationships.
  • Partner with portfolio management team to ensure timely and accurate project reporting and dashboarding.
  • Provide support to internal EPM related departmental projects.
  • Share best practices and continuously look for ways to improve the end-to-end portfolio management and project lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of related project or program management experience required; prior PMO, E-PMO or business transformation office experience is preferred
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing projects plans, charters, project schedules, business cases, and other common project management tools, artifacts, and assets is required
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Excel and PowerPoint) required
  • Excellent project management skills with proven success leading projects, 3rd party vendors and internal or external clients
  • Ability to lead others, provide exceptional internal client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Project experience with full lifecycle application development (e.g. requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment) is preferred
  • Prior Smartsheet experience is highly preferred
  • Flexibility to travel 10% and work outside of normal business hours due to project commitments

For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
