Equity Research Vice President, Technology, Internet, Digital Services

Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks a Vice President to support the equity research technology, Internet, Digital Services team. The primary focus of this role will be conducting primary research, including financial analysis, due diligence on industry trends, company management and strategies. Experience in building financial models and proficiency with accounting and financial statement analysis and strong writing skills required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and hard-working individual.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial models for use in analysis, company updates and recommendations for client
• Conduct industry and company specific research for use in research reports
• Keep senior analysts abreast of daily news flow
• Write investment thesis on specific companies and industries

Requirements and Qualifications:

• minimum of 4+ years of experience in investment banking or equity research preferred
• Ability to create and maintain financial models
• Demonstrated interest in the Digital Services or related sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Solid work ethic and superior attention to detail
• Series SIE, 63, 86 & 87 licensing preferred, but not required upon hiring
