A Brief Overview
The HR Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Employee Resource Group (ERG) Program Manager is responsible for oversight and support of the Employee Resource Group Program at Stanford Health Care (SHC). In this role the ERG Program Manager will ensure alignment and integration of ERG strategic plans, programming, and efforts that are aligned with the company's overall diversity, equity and inclusion strategy.
You will have deep knowledge in employee-based groups and industry best-practices and will have experience managing employee-based programs and ensuring their success. The ERG Program Manager has the opportunity to identify areas of improvement and to develop new and leading programs for SHC. The ERG Program Manager will provide advice, counsel, and recommendations on thought leadership opportunitites for SHC.
This role will also entail a high degree of coordination with the Employee Resource Group chairs, committee leaders, executive sponsors, and other key constituents to ensure all stated goals and objectives are met.

What you will do
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ERG leaders.
- Collaborate, consult, and partner with HR stakeholders, e.g., Talent Development, HR Business Partners, Recruiting and other key HR and non-HR personnel.
- Monitor leading best-practice and industry trends and partner with professional associations such as Seramount, Association of ERGs & Councils to proactively develop and optimize the ERG Program and serve as a thought leader for employee resource groups.
- Manage and enhance ERG membership data, performance scorecard, and provide other metrics as needed to provide relevant data, analysis and recommendations for the ERG Program.
- Provide context and training to ERG leaders.
- Continually evaluate effectiveness of the ERG Program through leader and member feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain "ERG Program Charter" and provide guidance and address questions related to the guidelines outlined.
- Manage annual ERG budget approval process and action plans.
- Coordinate the execution of annual cultural heritage/milestone events (i.e. Black History Month, Women's History Month, LGBT Pride Month, etc.) and other ERG related events and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related or Human Resources-related discipline/field
Experience Qualifications
- Five (5) - seven (7) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Experience managing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated industry expertise in key areas and experience, e.g., developing, implementing, managing ERG programs
- Ability to use analytics to monitor ERG program and identify proactive areas of improvements
- Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with ERG, HR and other key leaders
- Ability to manage a team and communicate program goals clearly
- Demonstrated customer-orientation, including ability to identify and target pain points for the ERG program
- Demonstrated understanding of leading best-practices within area of expertise

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $62.69 - $83.07 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
