Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

Under the general direction of the Manager, Financial IT Systems EPM Report Dev and Training, it is the responsibility of the Sr Financial IT Systems Analyst PowerBI and EPM to establish and maintain electronic data interchange functions across the Bon Secours supply chain enterprise.

Employment Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience as provided below is required in order to be considered for this position:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration or Information technology from an accredited college or university.

Must have Strong technical Power BI admin that has a deep knowledge of creating Power BI dataset and reports

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Can create or configure Power BI Gateways.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to resolve internal and external customer complaints and concerns

Ability to work independently, retain flexibility & maintain composure under pressure. Proven background in maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines is a must.

Has a good knowledge of connecting Power BI to various source applications (i.e. SQL Database, Oracle Hyperion Applicationse.t.c).

Skilled in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office Standard tools; previous experience in the use of MS-Project and general project management skills preferred.

Prefer someone that has an experience and good knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications (EPM Modules).

Must be detail-oriented and computer proficient in a Windows environment.

Has knowledge of conducting different tasks within the Cloud EPM Pods (i.e., FCCS, Planning, Essbase & Integration)

Must have strong, organization, presentation and communication skills and demonstrate initiative to stay abreast of current trends in Power BI.

Essential Job Functions

Strong technical Power BI admin with a deep knowledge of creating Power BI dataset and reports

Manages day-to-day maintenance on reports within Power BI and ensures that the data are accurate and available for end-users.

Gather details and develop reports and dashboard within Power BI based on end-users' request.

Monitor the daily refresh scheduled on appropriate Power BI reports.

Manage the security and end-users' access within Power BI.

Acquire knowledge of the End-to-End data and process flow of dataset for each report within Power BI.

Facilitate the development, implementation and support of Power BI reports for multiple end-users.

Investigate and resolve all data and technical discrepancies within Power BI and communicate with all stakeholders as needed.

Act as liaison with end-users for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve data and application issues.

Participate in meetings and discussion along with the functional and business requirements gathering sessions for new Power BI reports development.

Present, discuss, demonstrates and/or provide walk-through sessions on newly develop PBI reports for end-users.

Responsible for creating and maintaining all technical documents for all reports within Power BI.

Support the Hyperion Admin team during EPM metadata maintenance for month-end close as needed.

Assist with granting or maintaining security access for end-users within Oracle EPM applications as needed.
