ERP Functional Expert

Response Deadline: June 17, by 5 pm EST.

Term: The term of the purchase order (PO) resulting from this RFQ shall have an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.

Work Hours: Work hours shall be from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.

Location: The Contractor's employee is expected to work onsite at 4050 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida.

NOTE: We need to provide three (3) References for the proposed candidate.Each reference must include the following information:

• Organization name;

• Contact name, number, and email address;

• Project name and description;

• Project dates; and

• Brief description of the Project.

Also, Resume self certification form (Exhibit E) needs to be submitted for the proposed candidate.

Objective: The State of Florida, Department of Management Services (DMS) is seeking staff augmentation resources to assist with implementation services to incorporate data from each of the twenty-eight (28) state colleges into the current human resources information system (HRIS), People First, for benefits enrollment and administration.

ERP Functional Expert:

An ERP Team Member to serving as a Functional Expert will possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in specific functional areas of the system, such as finance, supply chain, human resources, or customer relationship management. Assess the system's functionality, identify gaps or issues, and propose remediation strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for documenting the "to-be" processes, defining performance metrics and identifying and resolving process gaps. Has a strong understanding and experience in the ERP methodology used by the organization. Responsible for mapping the business processes to ERP modules (often in conjunction with consultants) and participates in user acceptance testing. Often is involved in the creation of documentation and training materials, and may deliver training during implementation. May also act in a system support role immediately after implementation. Incumbents in this position come from the business, with an expert level of understanding of all of the business processes of the function they represent. They also serve as a communications liaison to the business during the implementation.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in function represented in the business. Or equivalent work experience.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of business and/or ERP implementation experience.

Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a technical leader. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area. May coach more junior technical staff
