We are currently seeking an ERP Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO) migration.

Overview:

This is a client-facing, consultative role, which influences decision makers across the organization on project execution as well as robust architecture, while maintaining a practical balance between desirability, feasibility, and viability.

The ideal candidate will have a history of successfully leading complex, large-scale transformations, specifically around process standardizations through ERP, and will be an expert in making prudent business decisions that directly affect the customer experience (CX).

The focus of this role includes the successful delivery of a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO) migration, standardization / variation reduction of global processes, managing project budget / resource allocation and driving the single global instance strategy / architecture for Dynamics 365.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Project Management
• Client facing D365FO project / program management to globally consolidate all the ERP instances into one single global D365 instance.
• Setting and managing client expectations regarding the project deliverables and pursuing applicable follow-up opportunities
• Managing milestones for successful, on-time, on-budget completion, providing reporting as necessary against baseline schedule, and conducting post-project lessons learned meetings
• Reporting project progress, maintaining/updating issues and risks, logging hours and expenses and verifying/approving team hours/expenses on a weekly basis
• Preparing for all project reviews (status reports, Steering Committee meetings) across different levels of the organization.
• Stakeholder management
• Have executive presence and drive conversations forward, leaning on past experiences with global implementations of D365.
• Coordinating and managing communications with various stakeholders across Phenomenex.
• Coordination
• Providing feedback to technical team leads on the performance of project teams.
• Collaborating with fellow PMs/EMs on project staffing and task allocation
• Collaborating with Sales teams, including scoping and pricing new opportunities, proposal and contract development, client meetings and relationship development
• MSP management
• Structuring consulting engagements for new project implementations and global support models.
• Tracking and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring deliverables and receivables for project
• Architecture
• Drive enterprise integration strategies with other enterprise applications such as CRM, web, Data warehouse etc.
• Drive a robust global ERP instance architecture that drives business growth as well as supportability of the solution.
  Note: Additional duties and responsibilities assigned as needed to ensure On-Time-Delivery.
  Ideal candidate will possess:
• PMP certification desired.
• Ability to apply proven project management methodologies and practices, including IT Implementation (e. g. CMM and CMMI), IT Service delivery and Support (e. g. ITIL Foundation), or Project Management fundamentals (e. g. PMI or equivalent).
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and knowledge of Industrie 4.0 concepts.
• Recent project management experience within the Microsoft stack (Exchange, O365, Access and Identity, Azure, SharePoint, etc.).
• Demonstrated familiarity and experience in using MS Project / Project Online.
• Attention to detail in both administrative and project/program activities.
  The essential requirements of the role include:
• BA/BS degree or 8+ years of equivalent work experience in relevant field.
• Minimum of 12 years project management experience rolling out global ERP solutions.
• At least 5 years' experience in Dynamics AX and/or D365.
  While this role is advertised online in many locations for exposure the actual site location is Torrance, California in Southern California

The salary range for this role ($82,000 - $143,000 base) is min-mid range. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
