Avanade Inc. seeks an ERP Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role in the implementation and support of Microsoft's premier Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) product - Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO). Relying on your infrastructure and systems transformation expertise, you will have responsibilities within each phase of the ERP project lifecycle including user meetings, requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and go-live. Day-to-day, you will: design D365FO Development and Test environments per ERP implementation requirements (Design); deploy D365FO Development and Test environments, all other Microsoft systems, and Azure cloud computing services to support the D365FO Development, Test and Production environments (Platform Deployment); deploy and configure all aspects of the D365FO ERP system in all environments (Application Deployment); perform administrative tasks to configure, maintain and monitor D365FO systems such as users, security, app configuration, creation and deployment of application and data packages, and database operations (Application Maintenance); and design and deploy Azure cloud services, resources and infrastructure to support and manage operations of D365FO environments and their integration points with external or third-party applications (Azure Data Center Operations). Periodic travel to client sites (domestic) is expected. Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of Indianapolis/Carmel, IN.

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management Information Systems, or a closely related technical field, plus at least five (5) years of experience as an ERP Senior Systems Engineer, or in a similar role in a technology or consulting environment. **Alternatively, in lieu of a bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience, Avanade will accept no degree and at least seven (7) years of experience as an ERP Senior Systems Engineer, or in a similar role in a technology or consulting environment.** A qualified applicant's experience must include: 4 years of experience performing systems administration on at least one of the following Microsoft technologies: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations; Dynamics Lifecycle Services; or Azure Services (i.e. Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and Web Services); 2 years of experience performing Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Services; 2 years of experience performing database administration and maintenance on SQL Server database systems (on-premises and Azure); 2 years of experience working with Web Servers and SharePoint technologies; 4 years of experience working within Windows Server 2012 R2 or newer Operating System; 3 years of experience performing full life cycle D365FO implementations in a hands-on, technical and system administration capacity; and 4 years of experience in ERP infrastructure and environment design, deployment, and maintenance (on-premises and Cloud) and the creation of related documentation.
